GREENEVILLE, Tenn. –
Rachel Elmore used five goals in the South Atlantic Conference road opener for the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team's 18-7 win over Tusculum University to surpass the century mark in career goals scored while playing for the Bears. Elmore becomes just the sixth player in Lenoir-Rhyne history to accomplish that feat.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• In addition to Elmore's explosive performance, Lenoir-Rhyne managed to get hat tricks from
Anna Bissell and
Alyssa Sack, while
Edie Webb put in her best performance in an LR uniform with her two goals. Five other Bears added a single goal each to add to the 18-score total.
• The Bears dominated the Pioneers in all statistical categories: shots (30-23), shots on goal (25-16), saves (9-7), turnovers (12-18), clears (14-of-17 versus 12-of-18), ground balls (19-12) and draw controls (17-10).
• Elmore added a team-high four caused turnovers and six ground balls in the victory. Gia Columbo paced the Bears with five draw controls and scored on her lone free position attempt of the game.
• Lenoir-Rhyne played
Cristi Rowland in goal for the entirety of the game, picking up the win with nine saves and just seven goals going against her. Kate Pipkin of Tusculum took the loss, playing all 60 minutes and picking up seven saves.
• Tusculum had three players score all seven goals during the game, led by Juliette Cusano with four goals and three ground balls. She also added four draw controls wins and one caused turnover.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The combination of Bissell, Sack and Webb each recorded season-highs in goals scored today.
• With the win, Head Coach
Carlee Buck is now undefeated in SAC openers while her team is now 3-1 in games away from Moretz Stadium.
• The Bears are undefeated when scoring 16 or more and the seven goals allowed are the fewest this season.
