Philippi, W.V. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team fell to No. 13 Mercyhurst in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Bears dropped a 19-11 decision on the campus of Alderson Broaddus who the Bears will play tomorrow afternoon.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Mercyhurst ran out to an early 7-2 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Mercyhurst was led by four goals each from Devin Pipher and Nathan Grenon.
• The Bears were led by a four-goal performance from junior
Eric Dickinson, which gives him 121 for his career. Dickinson is now four goals away from breaking the all-time mark which is currently owned by Ned Kaish from 2012-15.

Joe Buduo added a pair of goals for LR as did
Anthony Fraga.
Mitchell Linklater and
Edward Tate each dished out two assists.

Tyler Bane finished with two caused turnovers and a ground ball on the defensive end. Goalie
Noah Johnson also forced a pair of turnovers and recorded three ground balls to go with 10 saves.
• Mercyhurst held a slim 42-40 advantage in shots on the afternoon but dominated in ground balls, finishing with 42 compared to 19 for the Bears. Mercyhurst also won 26 of the 34 faceoffs on the game.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Today marks the sixth game against a ranked opponent for the Bears so far in 2019.
• LR scored on its lone man advantage opportunity and held Mercyhurst scoreless in their four attempts.
