Pittsburg, Kan. – Add the title of 2019 All-American to a long list of accolades that has been given to junior sprinter
P.J. Lotharp in the 2018-19 Indoor Track & Field season.
Lotharp earned First Team All-American status for the second season in-a-row after the Indian Trail, N.C. native finished sixth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.83, which is a one-spot improvement from his seventh place finish in 2018.
Lotharp also finished 10th in the 200-meters in Friday's prelims with a time of 21:58, which earns him a spot on the Second Team All-American list. This finish was a four-spot improvement, as he moved up from No. 14 last season to No. 10 this year.
He will join his Lenoir-Rhyne Track & Field teammates as the outdoor season will begin with the LR Southside Power & Fitness Invitational on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 in Hickory, N.C.
