STATS OF THE GAME:
• It was Elmore who once again led the Bears in scoring with five goals,
Cathleen Gaffney was behind her with three goals to go along with five assist and eight points on the day, and both
Alyssa Sack and
Edie Webb put in two goals each.
• 13 of Lenoir-Rhyne's 16 goals were assisted. Sack also added four assist two her pair of goals for six points in the game.
• LR more than doubled Mars Hill in ground balls (22-10), outshot the Lions (25-14, 21-12 on goal), collected more saves (9-5), won more draw controls (13-7) and dominated from the opening whistle.
• Mars Hill's Molly Tobias, Maria Fabrizio, and Victoria Eckerd each had a single goal.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Elmore continues her hot scoring run with multiple goals in six-straight games. The pair of seniors who played each scored, combining for six goals.
• Lenoir-Rhyne's win gives them a record of 10-0 when scoring 15 or more goals and are 5-2 at home this season.
• The win puts the Bears at 10 wins in the season for the fifth time in school history and the first time under Head Coach
Carlee Buck.
