Hartsell Finished NCAA South Region Championship Tied for 26th

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Senior Abbey Hartsell completed the final 18 holes of the 2019 Division II NCAA South Regional Championship, tallying a three-day score of 80-73-75-228, finishing tied for No. 26 on the leader board.

The South Atlantic Conference first team selection began day three on the back nine, logging five bogeys. Hartsell rebounded on the front nine, recording three birdies. She completed the day with a score of 75 (+3). She finished in a three-way tie for second among individuals with Lincoln Memorial's Lise Malherbe and Wingate's Warissara Puancharoen.

Hartsell, a native of Hickory, N.C, concluded her career as a Lenoir-Rhyne Bear as one that goes down in history. She is the only one who boasts the title of All-Conference all four years she has played on the links.
