HICKORY, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team won the first set but ran out of steam as Anderson won the final three sets to hand LR its third loss of the season. The Bears have now lost seven straight against Anderson.

STATS OF THE MATCH:

Taylor Prall continued her strong play, leading the Bears with 16 kills and posting a .300 hitting percentage. The junior added eight digs on the night.
• Senior
Alexis Ivey registered a season-high with seven kills and added four blocks.
• Sophomore
Alannah Thomas came off the bench to chip in eight kills and four digs.
• LR jumped out to a 25-17 win in the first set and erased a 14-11 deficit with an 8-0 scoring run.
Katrina Samuels closed out the first set with a kill but the Trojans would rally to take the final three.
• Anderson was led by Regan Duty who finished with 14 kills and was one of four players with double-digits in kills. Setter Emily Conlin added 53 assists and 21 digs for an impressive double-double.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Prall has led LR in kills in all but one match this season. Her 173 kills on the season is 51 more than anyone in the conference.
• The loss drops Lenoir-Rhyne to sixth in the conference standings.
