Charlotte, N.C.- In a matchup of last year's SAC co regular-season champions, the Royals jump out to a 3-0 halftime lead. The Bears crawled back into the matchup in the second half thanks to
Goncalo Garcia's second goal of the year to make it 3-1 but Queens Goalie Sebastian Kalk closed the door on the Bears rally with five second-half saves (nine total)

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The Royals jumped out early with two goals in a 107-second span to take a 2-0 lead eleven minutes in.
- Queens David Alvarez then added his second goal of the night at the 22nd-minute mark to give the Royals a 3-0 lead.
- LR did have their chances in the first half however Kalk stopped a Victor Cascon shot in front of the net, then one minute later stopped Goncalo Garcia's penalty kick. Kalk ended the first half with four saves.
- The Bears wasted no time with a quick goal to start the second half, Garcia scored his second goal of the season one minute into the half.
