CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team improved to 4-0 with 3-0 sweeps of North Greenville and Belmont Abbey on Saturday. It's the second straight season that Head Coach
Dave Markland and the Bears have started with a long win streak as LR won seven straight to open the 2018 campaign.
GAME ONE:
Final: Lenoir-Rhyne 3, North Greenville 0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-13)

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Sophomore Alannah Thomas lead the Bears with thirteen kills including the game winner in both game 1 and game 2 and added 10 digs for her first career double-double.
- Sophomore Helen Hamilton handed out 24 assists after 20 and 22 assists yesterday for the Bears.
- Ashley Hawkins finished with 11 digs and Braelyn Faust added a season-high five blocks for LR.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Taylor Prall just missed a double-double with 10 kills and nine digs.
- Helen Hamilton handed out 24 assists for the second straight game.
- The Bears had a great second set with no errors and 10 kills as they cruised to a 25-10 win.
- LR out-aced the Crusaders 10-1 lead by freshman Anna Jordan with four.

After a 4-0 weekend, the Bears will return home Tuesday at 7 PM for their home and conference opener against Catawba.
