Bearden, Hardy lead LR to Win over Mars Hill

Mars Hill, N.C.--- Karlie Bearden and Madeline Hardy combined for 38 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Bears to an 82-58 win over Mars Hill. With the win, the Bears finish the first half of the conference schedule with a 5-6 record including winning five out of the last seven games.

  • The Bears defense tonight forced Mars Hill into 20 turnovers and scored 27 points off Mars Hill turnovers. In addition, the Bears had 11 steals and five blocks to go along with a 42-35 advantage on the glass.
