Hickory, N.C.--Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball used a huge 4th quarter to pull away from Queens. The Bears, who were tied at the half and only up three entering the 4th quarter, scored 23 points in the 4th quarter to pull away from the Royals. LR shot 10-12 from the floor in the final quarter to help the Bears move their SAC record to 6-6.

Stats of the Game:
	- Kennedy Weigt, whose 25 straight game streak with at least one three pointer was snapped on Wednesday at Mars Hill,  did not waste any time starting a new streak. Weigt hit four three-pointers in the opening quarter on her way to a game-high 21 points. Weigt in total went 6-13 from deep and added 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 rebounds on her afternoon. 
- Madeline Hardy and Karlie Bearden each had double-doubles on the afternoon. Hardy finally got her 8th double-double of the season after coming up just shy the last two games. Hardy finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Bearden came off the bench to play 28 minutes and had 11 points and 11 rebounds. 
- Queens's Kristian Eanes had her second 20-point performance against the Bears this year. Eanes finished with 20 points including 8-for-9 from the line. Eanes came into play as third leading scoring in the SAC conference with 16.4 points per game. Earlier this season Eanes had 24 points in the game at Queens.
- Bears defense held Queens to 30% shooting from the floor. Queens put up 69 shots on the afternoon but only made 21. Queens really struggled from three shooting 3-19. 
- On the other side, LR shot 24-52 from the field (46.2%) and assisted on 18 of their 24 baskets. Alyssa Wagner set a career high with 5 assists on the afternoon. 
- The LR bench out-scored the Royal bench 32-13 led by Bearden (11) and Blair Barefoot (7)
Beyond the Box Score:
	- In the previous meeting this season on November 30,  Queens erased the Bears five-point half time lead thanks to a red-hot second half. The Royals shot 57% from the field to score 46 of their 72 points in the second half on the way to a 72-57 win.
- With the win today, the Bears have won five straight games against Queens in Hickory and nine out of the last 10 overall with the Royals.
- Before Wednesday, February 6, 2019 against Newberry was the last game Weigt did not hit a three pointer. During the 25 game streak, Weigt made 66 three pointers.
- Blair Barefoot and Alyssa Wagner both went over 100 career points on the afternoon. 
- Kennedy Weigt with her 21 points went over the 600 point mark on her career. ​​​​​
