HICKORY, N.C. – On a cold February evening, the No. 17 Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team dominated Westminster by a final score of 17-8. The Bears scored five of the games first six goals and never looked back in this one.

STATS OF THE GAME:

Myles Moffat nearly tied the program record for most goals in a game, scoring seven times on 12 shots and nearly outscored the entire Griffins squad. Moffat added two assists for a nine point evening.
• Not to be outdone,
Eric Dickinson also tallied nine points with six of his coming off assists. With his hat trick tonight, Dickinson moves into a first-place tie in LR history with 141 goals scored, drawing even with
Joe Buduo. Dickinson sits just nine points away from breaking Buduo's all-time points record of 209.

Edward Tate registered his second career hat trick and added three ground balls.

Mitchell Linklater led the Bears with a career-high 10 ground balls and added a caused turnover.
Noah Flasch was dominant once again, winning 18-of-26 face offs and grabbing four ground balls.

Connor Stanley tied a Lenoir-Rhyne record with his five caused turnovers on the night. For Stanley, it was the second time in his career he registered five caused turnovers which has been done five times in the history of LR Lacrosse.

Noah Lalli earned the win in goal, making seven saves on the night.
• The Bears were whistled for a season-high eight penalties, covering 6:30 of game time. LR did hold the Griffins to just 1-of-5 with the extra man.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The Bears held a 46-26 advantage in shots and 31-15 edge in shots on goal.
• LR won 19 of the 27 face offs on the night.
• This was the first ever meeting between the two programs.
• LR moves to 2-0 for the first time since starting 4-0 in 2018 and this is only the second 2-0 start in team history.
