NEWBERRY, S.C. --- Eleazer Arena continues to be a house of horrors for the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team who dropped its 12th straight game at Newberry on Saturday. The 76-72 loss to the Wolves continues a losing streak that dates back to 2009.

- Lenoir-Rhyne shot 51.6 percent from the field in the first half but slumped to 32.2 percent in the final 20 minutes. The Bears also hit just 3-of-17 from long range in the second half.
- R.J. Gunn was one of three in double figures, scoring 17 points on 7-of-17 shooting. Mason Hawks had 14 (and went 4-of-8 from deep) and Darius Simmons had 11. Cooper Fowler and Davion Bradford each had nine.
- Newberry held a 43-33 advantage on the boards and grabbed 11 offensive boards. The Wolves also turned the ball over just six times.
- The lead changed hands 13 times in the contest and was tied on six occasions.
- Newberry had four players in double figures, including three who scored 16 apiece.
- The game was tied at 70 with 3:21 to play but LR had no field goals the rest of the way and a jumper by TJ Brown with 23 seconds to go proved to be the game-winner for Newberry.
