No. 17 Men's Lacrosse Tops Maryville 11-6

HICKORY, N.C. – A game after setting the Lenoir-Rhyne and South Atlantic Conference record for most career goals, Eric Dickinson became the all-time school and conference leader in points as LR cruised past Maryville. Dickinson entered the night just two points shy of Joe Buduo's mark and finished with six points.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Dickinson scored three of his five goals in the first 11:15 of the contest to get the Bears off to a fast start. The fourth LR goal of the game came from Myles Moffat with Dickinson getting the assist. 
• Moffat netted two goal sand handed out a pair of assists while Edward Tate had a goal and three helpers. 
Edward Tate registered his second career hat trick and added three ground balls. 
• Dickinson and Mitchell Linklater led the Bears with five ground balls and Tyler Bane caused four turnovers. 
Noah Johnson made 18 saves in goal for the Bears to earn his first win of 2020. The 18 saves ties a career-high which he also accomplished against Newberry on April 23, 2019.
• LR held a 44-24 advantage in ground balls and won 15 of 21 of face offs. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• This was the first ever meeting between Lenoir-Rhyne and Maryville. 
• The win gives LR 88 all-time and 48 at Moretz Stadium. 
• LR will take on back-to-back teams ranked in the top three in the nation after this one.
