Women's Basketball Falls to #19 Anderson

Hickory, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne's Women's Basketball team fell to #19 Anderson 74-54 in the Shu on Saturday afternoon.

Stats of the Game:
  • Anderson's Alexy Mollenhauer had her 14th double-double on the year. Mollenhauer had 18 points and 18 rebounds for the Trojans.
  • Anderson's Madison Baggett had a triple-double for the Trojans. Baggett had 19 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds. 
  • The Bears struggled from the floor, opening the game shooting 3-16 (18.8%) in the first quarter, which allowed the Trojans to open a double-digit lead.  The Bears finished the game shooting 28.4% from the floor.
  • Kennedy Weigt and Ashley Woodroffe had double figures for the Bears. Weigt had 15 points on 5-15 shooting, while Woodroffe pitched in 10 points for the Bears.

  • Karlie Bearden added four blocks for the Bears, Bearden has had 13 blocks for the Bears in the last three games.
