Florence, S.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis win 5-2 on the road at Francis Marion on Sunday afternoon to improve to 7-3 on the season.In doubles, 
 
Mauricio Hernandez and Alex Hyman got LR off to a strong start with a 6-2 win over Broeseler/Guerrero at the no.2 spot. Josh Lazenby and Rhodri Atkinson then won at no.1 doubles by a score of 6-2 to clinch the doubles point for the Bears.
 
 In singles, Lazenby quickly saw off Liam Day, winning 6-4 6-2. Francis Marion's Paul Meuwissen and Guerrero fought back with wins over Patrik Alvestrand and Scott to level the match at 2-2. LR bounced back by winning the next three singles matches which sealed the 5-2 win. Atkinson won at no.1 singles, while Hyman and Eric van Nunen both came through three set battles. Atkinson has now won three matches in a row to improves his singles record to 6-2.
 
The Bears return to conference play on Wednesday, March 11 with a home match against Coker.
