Wingate, N.C. :The Lenoir-Rhyne men's tennis team fell to No. 22 Wingate 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon in a SAC showdown. The Bears dropped the doubles point but looked to build momentum in singles play with
Zeno Godi securing the team's lone point at No. 6 singles. Despite the effort, Lenoir-Rhyne was unable to close the gap and fell in close matches in the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 spots. Godi's point was Lenoir-Rhyne's first point vs. Wingate since Zach Cox earned one in 2022.
The Bears now sit at 8-4 overall and 7-3 in conference play as they look to bounce back in their final regular season match before postseason play.
