Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's tennis team closed out the regular season with a top-25 victory over No. 24 Lincoln Memorial on Senior Day. Following the match, the Bears honored senior Vadym Rogynskyi.

The Bears took momentum early, securing the doubles points with wins from Vitor Ferreira / Vadym Rogynskyi and Elijah Blackshaw / Samuil Sivinov at the #1 and #2 spots. The Bears continued that momentum in singles play with wins from Vitor Ferreira, Paul Daniel Meyer, and a clutch performance from Elijah Blackshaw, who battled through a third set tiebreaker to secure the win for the Bears.

The Bears finish the regular season out 9-4, and 8-3 in conference play. The Bears will now head to Sumter, S.C., to take on #5 seeded Tusculum in the SAC quarterfinals. That match will begin on Thursday, April 16, at 9:00 a.m. at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
