CATAWBA, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team reached double digits in the win column on the season thanks to a 3-1 victory over Catawba on Wednesday night. The Bears dropped the first set but rallied to win sets two, three and four by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-18.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- For the second straight match, senior Taylor Prall topped 20 digs. Tonight, Prall went off for a career-high 24 digs and added a team-high13 kills to go with a block and a service ace.
- Colette Romp reached double-digits in kills for the second straight match, tallying 12 kills and a .370 hitting percentage. In her last match, Romp had 14 kills and a .394 hitting percentage.
- Emma Clark led the Bears with a .615 hitting percentage and finished with eight kills and four blocks.
- Alannah Thomas had eight kills on the night and added five blocks and three digs.
- Braelyn Faust led the Bears with six blocks and added five kills and two digs, while Ashley Hawkins had 12 digs.
- Helen Hamilton handed out 27 assists and Rachel Bewick had 16 digs and a pair of assists.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Bears dropped the first set for the second straight match but came back to win both contests.
- Prall is 29 digs away from 1,000 for her career.
- Bewick moved her career total to 837 digs and her season total to 278. Bewick's career high came in 2019 with 307.
- LR has won seven straight over Catawba. The last loss to the Indians came on Nov. 1, 2016.
