Charlotte, N.C.- On day one of the star-studden Fall Frenzy, The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's is in 7th place after day one. This year's Fall Frenzy features Bluegrass Mountains Conference foes in Queens, Wingate and Mars Hill along with UNC Asheville, Gardner-Webb, James Madison, Emmanuel, Milligan and Converse.Â
Day one saw the Bears's
Lisa Boernigen get an NCAA qualify time in the 200 IM. Boernigen finished third with a 2:03.98. Boernigen is looking to head to her third NCAA Championship later this year. Boernigen has qualified for the 200 IM the last two years.Â
LR also received points with a 15th and 18th place in the 200 Free Relay.

Madeline Blackwell,
Isabelle Hurd and
Anna Harshaw finished 15th with a 1:44.33 time while the team consisting of
Lauren Muehl,
Abigail Chapman,
Dana Watson and
Carly Godfrey finished 18th with a time of 1:52.75
Elizabeth Bowman finished the scoring for the Bears on day one with a 20th place finish in the 500 Free with a 5:07.64 time.
Bears scored 117 points on day one and will take the pool tomorrow morning at 9:00 for prelims with finals starting at 5:30.Â
