HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball team moved into a first-place tie with Tusculum at 13-2 in league play with a 3-0 sweep of Coker on Friday night. The Bears own the tiebreaker with the Pioneers thanks to an earlier 3-0 win. The victory sets up a big matchup with the Wingate Bulldogs tomorrow.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Taylor Prall got the Bears off to a fast start and LR wouldn't look back. Prall went off for eight kills and hit .444 in the first set as the Bears jumped ahead early.
- Anna Jordan and Rachel Bewick each had eight digs in the opening frame.
- LR would cruise to 25-16 wins in sets two and three and hit .375 as a team in the third set.
- The Bears were able to play 17 different players in the victory.
- Prall finished with a match-high 12 kills.
- Mackenzie Hulsey had four kills and hit .800 while adding 18 assists. Rachel Wildermuth was one assist shy of tying a career-high with her 15 assists.
- Bewick finished with 18 digs and Jordan notched a season-high 14 digs.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- LR is 20-3 all-time against Coker and have won seven straight against the Cobras.
- The Bears have won seven straight matches.
- The win was the Bears 13th SAC win of the season. LR has not reached that mark since winning 18 games in the 2015 season.
