Hartsville, S.C.-- Kennedy Weigt scored 18 points on the night but the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team dropped a 63-57 on the second night of a back-to-backer on Thursday. Weigt hit a pair of 3-pointers to give her 194 on her career as she marches toward 200.

STATS AND INFO:
- This is the first time Lenoir-Rhyne has played games in consecutive days since November 8-9, 2019
- The Bears have now dropped six of their last seven games
- Lenoir-Rhyne had won seven straight against Coker in the head-to-head matchup

FIRST HALF:
- Coker ran out to an early 15-5 lead but the Bears answered with a 20-6 run and took a 25-21 advantage
- The Cobras answered with six straight points before Kennedy Weigt scored in the final seconds to draw the teams even at 27 
- Weigt ended the first half with a game-high 11 points and Emily Harman had seven first-half boards
- The Bears were held to 28.6 percent shooting and limited Coker to 31.3 shooting

SECOND HALF:
- The Bears struggled in the third quarter and managed just eight points in the frame. The Cobras scored 17 in the period and took a 44-35 lead into the fourth
- After an Alyssa Wagner jumper gave Lenoir-Rhyne a 35-34 advantage in the middle of the third quarter, the Cobras outscored LR 29-22 down the stretch
- The Bears followed up an eight-point third quarter with a 22 point fourth quarter. LR shot 50 percent from the field and went 3-of-5 from long range
- Coker went 14-for-21 in the second half, shooting 66.7 percent 

ABOUT THE BEARS:
- Weigt hit a pair of 3-pointers on the night and now has hit at least one three in 73 career games
- Hooks finished with eight points and 12 rebounds, just missing her second career double-double
- Harman added 10 points for LR and has 11 games with at least 10 points in her freshman season
- Blaikley Crooks had 11 points, one short of her career-high

NOTABLE COBRAS:
- Raya Coley finished with a team-high 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting and went 3-of-6 from deep
- Ahlea Myers (11) and Valicia Demeritte (10) joined Coley in double-digit scoring
- Coker matched the 2019-20 season total of conference wins despite playing six fewer games
