Hickory, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis team won their fourth straight match, toppling Catawba 7-0 Friday afternoon.
In doubles, LR got hot and won three straight doubles matches to win the doubles point (1-0).

Josh Lazenby closed things out against Dekester/Joel 6-0.
In singles,  Alvestrand started things off beating Elkin 6-3, 6-0 to put LR up (2-0). Moser then followed and quickly beat Dekester 6-1, 6-3 making the score (3-0). Atkinson conintued the trend defeating Joel 6-4, 7-5 clinching the match for LR (4-0). Lazenby then kept LR hot defeating Rados 6-1, 6-2 (5-0). Hernandez then put his stamp on the match beating Rucciardi 8-1. In the last match of the day, Scott battle and came out on top beating Zababuryn 6-2, 5-7, 10-8 to close the match (7-0).
The Bears now improve to 5-3, 3-1 SAC on the season and will be back in action on Sunday March 14 on the road against UVA Wise.
