Monroe, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's golf team finish in 9th place at the Hargett Memorial Invitational, hosted by Wingate University, Tuesday.

The tournament is being played at Stonebridge Golf Club where 11 teams make the field. Of the 11 teams five other teams are South Atlantic Conference schools including Limestone, Lincoln Memorial, Wingate, Catawba, and Queens. Limestone led the field 303-300-- 603.


Clara Cerfont led the way for LR finishing T-17th shooting a 76-84-- 160 (+16). Cerfont is T-1st in birdies in the tournament at four. Patricia Asensio followed just behind Cerfont placing T-20th with scores of 87-75-- 162 (+18). Megan Robb rounded out the top three finishing T-26th with a 87-77-- 164 (+20).

The Bears will be back in action Monday March 29-30 for the Lander Bearcat Invitational.
