Lenoir-Rhyne Falls at Home to No. 13 Limestone

HICKORY, N.C. --The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team fell at Moretz Stadium to No. 13 Limestone on Monday afternoon. The Saints scored the first 12 goals of the game and held LR to its lowest scoring output since the two met on March 30, 2019.

INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Britannie Ouimet and Rachel Denney each had four goals and an assists for the Saints who had eight different players score a goal
- Alyssa Sack, Jolan Morey and Kaitlyn Lehman found the back of the net for LR
- Defensively, Liz Black was strong with three caused turnovers and Kiley Yurchak and Michelle Tang each caused a pair of turnovers
- In goal, Teanna Sieben had a tremendous effort, stopping 12 shots on the evening
- Limestone held a 26-13 advantage in ground balls and won 11-of-20 draw controls
- The Bears were held to just 7-of-12 on clears and had 22 turnovers in the game

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
-Lenoir-Rhyne is now 0-8 all-time against Limestone
-This was a rescheduled game which was supposed to take place on March 6
- LR was given three yellow cards in the game

UP NEXT:  Lenoir-Rhyne will return to action on Monday when they host Tusculum at 6 p.m.
