Victor Cascon scored twice off assists from
Jaime Poza in the first half but Wingate scored twice in a five-minute stretch in the second half as the teams played to a 2-2 draw Thursday night at Wingate.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Cascon scored his second goal of the season in the 16th minute. Poza set up Cascon right in front of the net to gave the Bears an early 1-0 lead.
- The duo struck again in the 41st minute as Poza set up Cascon with a one-timer for his second goal of the game.
- Wingate got on the board with a corner kick in the 78th minute, Owen Marshall scored from the corner kick of Mikkel Fahlen Bruun.
- Two minutes later, Marshall picked up a red card causing the Bulldogs to go down a man for the last thirty minutes.
- The Bulldogs found the equalizer in the 83rd minute with a goal from Brunn off a free kick from 22 yards out.
- The first ten minute overtime neither team had a shot opportunity but in the second overtime the Bears had four shots but could not find the back of the net for the win.
- The game featured twelve yellow cards and one red card on the night.
- Both teams finished with ten shots but the Bulldogs had an eight to four advantage on shots on goal.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Cascon's goals was his 23rd and 24th of his career. Victor needs one more goal to move into 5th place in team history.
- Tonight was the first overtime game for the Bears since a tie against Tusculum on September 21, 2019.
- The last overtime game between these teams was November 7, 2008, when Wingate beat the Bears 3-2 in the SAC tournament semi-final.
- Teams will meet again in Hickory to end the regular season on April 1.
