David Sdzuy's penalty kick in the 13th minute sent the Lenoir-Rhyne Men Soccer Team to the SAC Championship game with their 1-0 win over Anderson. This will be the Bears' first appearance in the SAC final since 2011.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
	- In the 13th minute, Jaime Poza had the ball in front of the goal when Anderson's Goalkeeper Gal Elyashiv committed the foul which gave the Bears the penalty kick. 
 
	- Sdzuy then connected on the kick in the top right corner to give the Bears the 1-0 lead.
 
	- The goal was all the Bears needed as the LR defense held Anderson scoreless on just six shots on the night.
 
	- Bears outshot the Trojans 14-6 and had four corner kicks compared to just two for Anderson. 
 
	- Juan Basabe got the clean sheet in goal for the Bears, making three saves on the night. 
 
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
	- Tonight's win was the first win over Anderson in the SAC tournament all-time (1-4-1).
 
	- Bears did advance in 2014 after beating the Trojans in penalty kicks after a 0-0 tie. 
 
	- With the win, the Bears move to 5-6-1 in the semifinal round of the tournament.
 
	- Bears fell to Anderson 1-0 in their last SAC Championship appearance in 2011. 
 
	- This was the Bears' first penalty kick goal scored since Florian Simon connected on two in an October 13th game against Lincoln Memorial in 2018. 
 
	- Tonight's win ended a four-game losing streak to Anderson.
