HICKORY, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team topped Coker by a final score of 3-1 inside Shuford Gymn on Thursday night. The Bears hit .201 as a team on the night and were led by 15 kills from Taylor Prall.

STATS OF THE MATCH:

• Mackenzie Hulsey finished the match with her third straight double-double, tallying 39 assists and 14 digs.
• Prall added a double-double of her own by recording 16 digs to go with her 15 kills.
• Emma Clark was tremendous for the Bears as the senior finished the night with seven blocks and was second on the team with nine kills.
• Alannah Thomas hit a season-best .304 on the night and finished with nine kills and Colette Romp added nine kills of her own. 
• Coker was led by Emily Everton who finished with a match-high 17 kills.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

• This marks the sixth straight win for the Bears over Coker.
• This is the first time LR has started 2-0 in SAC play since 2017.

UP NEXT:  The Bears will be off this weekend before returning to action on Tuesday when they conclude their three-game homestand with a 7 p.m. matchup against Mars Hill.
