Victor Cascon's goal 31 seconds into the second overtime gave the Bears the 2-1 upset over No. 4 Coker on Wednesday evening. This is the second straight season LR has bested a top five team as they also beat No. 2 Young Harris on September 25, 2019.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Even through the Bears dominated the first 27 minutes with a 8-1 shot advantage, the Cobras second shot gave them the 1-0 lead.
- LR finally get the equalizer in the 61' minute after a Victor Cascon shot was saved by Coker's goalie Jasper Rump the ball bounced out to Nicolas Bohigues,who took a deep shot outside the 18 to find the back of the net. It was Bohigues's first career goal as a Bear.
- After the Bears tied it, Rump would not allow the Bears to take the lead by making key save after save to keep the game tied at one. Rump had five huge saves in the last 30 minutes of play including the game saver with less then three seconds left as Jaime Poza had a shot right in front of the goal that Rump got a piece of to send it into overtime.
- Both overtimes only saw one total shot but the Bears made the last one count as Cascon scored the game-winner just 31 seconds into the period.
- Bears out shot Coker 23-7 on the night. Coker came into the contest averaging 20 shots per contest, which lead the SAC but the Bears defense did an excellent job holding them to well below their average.
- Rump had eleven saves for the Cobras (nine in second half and overtime), while Bears keeper Camden Coleman did not record a save on the night.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- With the win, Head Coach Jack Winter won his 50th career game as head coach with the Bears.
- Winter's 10th and 20th career win also came against Coker.
- With the upset of #4 Coker tonight, the Bears are 3-0 in their last three games against top ten ranked teams.
- Bears last overtime game was last March when the Bears tied Wingate at their place 2-2.
- Cascon's goal was his 29th career goal, which moves him into sole possession of third place in program history.
