Hickory, N.C.--The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Swimming Team returned to Shuford Pool on Friday afternoon to host Lees-McRae on Senior Day. The Bears won 97-83 to earned the hard fought victory after they celebrated their Senior Class with a special ceremony.

The Bears started the event with a win in the 400 Medley Relay, the team consisting of Kimberly Scheiber, Lisa Boernigen, Kayana Taylor and Elizabeth Bowman won with a time of 4:05.06

 Boernigen then got wins in the 500 Free (5:17.63) and 400 IM (4:42.61) and Scheiber won the 100 Breast to secure the victory for the Bears in Event 17.  

The Bears will return to the pool tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 PM as they host #1 Queens at Shuford Pool.
