Greeneville, Tenn.- The Tusculum Pioneers defeated the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball team on Saturday to extend their winning streak to ten games against the Bears. LR got 24 points from
Brandi Hudson in defeat as the Bears fall to 2-1 on their current four-game road trip.

STATS AND INFO:
- Sophomore Emily Harman surpassed the 500-career point mark with her first basket today in her 34th career game for the Bears.
- Tusculum has now won 10th straight games against the Bears.
- Pioneers came into today's game 21st in the nation in three-point field goal attempts with 438.
- Bears will close out their four-game road trip on Monday at Queens.
FIRST HALF:
- The Bears got six quick points from Hudson and grabbed a 12-11 lead at the first media timeout then the Pioneers closed the quarter with a 7-0 run to take an 18-12 lead.
- PIoneers shot 50% from the floor in both quarters and 7 of 16 from long range to open a 20 point lead at the half.
- Bears started 5-5 from the floor to get the early lead but then went 3-12 from the floor the rest of the half.
- Only three Bears scored in the first half as Hudson and Harman made 7-12 while the rest of the Bears were 1-5 from the floor.
SECOND HALF:
- Pioneers opened their biggest lead of the third quarter with a 25 point lead with 6:22 after a Jalia Arnwine free throw.
- Bears could not get closer than 19 points the rest of the contest as Tusculum eventually opened a 29 point lead in the fourth quarter.
- Bears turned it over 16 times on the afternoon while Pioneers scored 20 points off turnovers compared to just four for the Bears.
ABOUT THE BEARS:
- Hudson lead the Bears with 24 points on 8-11 shooting from the floor, Hudson added 8-9 from the line as well.
- Harman added 7 points and seven rebounds.
- Hannah Stull added a half dozen in points while Hanna McClung had five points and four rebounds.
NOTABLE PIONEERS:
- Jalia Arnine lead the Pioneers with 24 points and six rebounds.
- Brianna Dixon joined Arnine with a twenty-point game with 21 of her own. Dixon also added five assists and three rebounds.
- Mya Belton was the third Pioneer in double figures with 19 points and added seven rebounds.
