Three Bears Qualify for Championship Heat on Day Three of BMC Championship

Charlotte, N.C.- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Swimming Team had three individuals swimmers qualify for the championship heat on day three of the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship. 

Kimberly Scheiber finished in 6th place in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:05.25. Scheiber had almost the exact time in the prelims earlier that morning (1:05.24). 

Lisa Boernigen had a 4th place finished in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:04.52. Her time was good enough for an NCAA "B" cut time. 

Kayana Taylor qualified for her first individual championship as well in the 200 fly, finishing in 8th with a time of 2:09.63.

All three of them were joined by Elizabeth Bowman to end the night with a 5th place in the 800 Medley relay. 

The Women remain in 5th place with 479.50 points as they head into the final day on Sunday.
