Charlotte, N.C.- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Swimming Team finished in 5th place in this year Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship. The Bears finished with 598.5 points in the four day event.

On day four, Kimberly Scheiber qualified for the championship in the 200 Breast and finished in 8th place with a 2:27.23 time. 

Emily Harness, Anna Harshaw, Madeline Blackwell and Lauren Muehl then competed in the 400 Free relay and had a 8th place finished with a 3:45.10 time. 

The Bears will complete in the Royal Open on Friday back in Charlotte, N.C. as this event will be the last chance to earn their spot in the NCAA Championship, which starts on March 9th in Greensboro, N.C.
