HICKORY, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball scored all 14 of its runs in the 6th and 7th innings, and the pitching staff struck out 14 or more batters for the sixth game in a row as the Bears grabbed a 14-4 midweek home win over Limestone on Wednesday night at Durham Field. The Bears remain undefeated on the 13-game homestand in the month of February.

STATS AND INFO
- The first five innings of the game were a pitchers duel. LR starter Tanner Moyers didn't surrender a run in four innings, and Caleb Cockerham pitched a scoreless fifth.
- Limestone grabbed the first run of the game in the top of the 6th inning on a balk with a runner on third base.
- The Bears only recorded two hits through the first five innings, but then exploded in the sixth.
- Drew Yniesta started things off with a walk, Nick Clarno reached on an infield single, Luis Atiles recorded a bunt single, and LR's RBI leader Anthony Porrino delivered again with a two-run double to score Yniesta and Clarno.
- Bryce Stober then singled in Atiles, and was followed up by another RBI single from Brett Eurey.
- Wade Cuda continued his recent tear, doubling in Stober. Cuda won both the SAC and Regional Player of the Week honors after his .550 week.
- After the Cuda double, Cole Laskowski singled in two more runs with the infield in.
- Clarno wrapped up the scoring in the inning with an RBI single. LR finished the inning with eight runs and eight hits.
- LR got six more runs in the 7th, five of which came from bases loaded walks/hit by pitch.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The 9-1 start for LR is the best since 2017, when the Bears won the first nine games of the season.
- LR has now scored double-digit runs in four straight games. The Bears went 13-0 scoring in double digits in 2021.
- The Bears used 22 different position players and six different pitchers in the game.
- LR has now won four out of the last five games against Limestone. The Bears took three out of four from the Saints in 2021 in a SAC weekend series.
- The Bears move to 15-2 all-time against Limestone in Hickory.
