MONTEVALLO, ALA.- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team held Montevallo to a season-low five goals and
Teanna Sieben made 14 saves as the Bears won in non-conference action on Saturday.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- The Bears ran out to a quick 3-0 lead as three different players found the back of the net.
Ellie Campbell started the scoring and was followed by
Jolan Morey and
Alexa Burghardt.
- Montevallo didn't score until the 11:28 mark of the second quarter to make it 3-1 but the Falcons would score two more to close out the half, including a goal with two seconds left to even the game at 3.
- LR held Montevallo scoreless in the third quarter as well and
Suzy Smith and Burghardt gave LR a 5-3 lead after 45 minutes of play.
- Campbell pushed the lead to 6-3 before the Falcons scored with 10:24 to cut it to a pair.

Chloe Christensen and Campbell would close out the scoring for the Bears.
- Campbell finished with a hat trick and added an assist.
- Smith had a goal and two assists and
Cambrie Cochran had a pair of assists.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Sieben's 14 saves mark the fourth time she has recorded double figures in saves this year.
- LR also defeated Montevallo last year and moves to 2-0 all-time.
- Montevallo head coach Adrianna Piontek was an assistant at LR under
Carlee Buck for two years before taking over the Falcon program.
- This is the second-to-last non-conference game this year for LR.
