Hickory, N.C. - For the second time this week, the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis Team swept a SAC opponent. On Sunday, The Bears defeated UVA Wise 7-0 to move to 2-0 in SAC conference play and 4-3 overall. 

The Bears won all three doubles matches with out losing a point in each of the sets to take a 1-0 advantage heading into singles. 

Rhodri Atkinson (#1 singles), Josh Lazenby (#2 singles) and Connor Gibson (#5 singles) each won their match 6-0, 6-0 while Lewis Scott won the #3 singles match 6-1, 6-1. 

Mauricio Hernandez and Mattias Selde also won their match as the Bears swept the visiting Cavs. This is the second straight year the Bears have swept UVA Wise.

The Bears will look to go to 3-0 in the league when Newberry comes to Hickory on Friday.
