HICKORY, N.C. - No. 37 Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis got back in the win column on Sunday against Limestone, grabbing a 4-3 victory over the Saints. The Bears' top three singles players vere victorious, along with a win from
Mauricio Hernandez at No. 5 singles to secure the victory.
Rhodri Atkinson and
Josh Lazenby were the lone victors in the doubles round for the Bears, winning handily 6-1 at No. 1.
In singles, Atkinson won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1, Lazenby won 6-1, 6-4 at No.2,
Lewis Scott won a hard-fought match 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3, and Hernandez won the aforementioned match at No. 5 6-3, 7-6.Â
The Bears take on Queens at home on Thursday in the conference finale, and can win a share of the SAC regular season championship for the first time in program history with a win.Â
