Indianapolis, Ind-- This week,
Lisa Boernigen competed in her fourth straight NCAA Championship as the senior from Munchen, Germany competed in three events in Indianapolis, Indiana. Boernigen is the first Lenoir-Rhyne Women's swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championship in four straight seasons.
On day two, Boernigen raced in the 200 IM and finished in 24th place with a time of 2:05.36. After a day break, Boerngien came back on day four and finished 41st in the 100 Free with a time of 51.92. On the final day, Boernigen finished the championship with a time of 2:05.81 as Boernigen finished 27th in the 200 Fly.
Boernigen did earn All-American honors in 2021 in the 200 IM in Birmingham, Alabama
