HICKORY, N.C.-- The Bears did a great job honoring their four seniors on Friday night, as they swept Catawba 3-0 en-route to their 10th SAC victory of the season. The Bears had a .303 hitting % on the night, with senior
Jenna Vogen registering a double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs on the evening.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- LR came out hot, hitting a .375 in the first set with 17 total kills. The Bears were led with five kills from Kayli Cleaver.
- Catawba jumped out to an early lead in the second set, going up 6-3.
- Lenoir-Rhyne scored 18 of the next 24 points to take a commanding 21-12 lead.
- A Rachel Wildermuth ace secured the 25-15 set victory.
- The Bears had to survive three set points in the final set.
- After the teams traded points, a kill from Aasia McNeill give the Bears a 26-25, which Averie Dale then followed with her 23rd ace of the season to get the win.
- 19 of the Bears 27 points in the 3rd set were kills, led by four from Vogen, Dale and Cleaver.
- Bears only had two blocks on the night, but McNeill and Dale had a key one with the score tied at 24 in the third set.
- Including Dale's game winning ace, the Bears had six on the night. Sydney Karjala led with two aces.
- The .303 hitting % is the Bears second highest of the season.
- Kayli Cleaver (11) and Jenna Vogen (10) each had double-digit kills.
- Rachel Wildermuth and Sydney Karjala tied for the team high with 19 assists each.
