Volleyball takes down Catawba 3-1 in Salisbury

SALISBURY, NC - For the second time in eight days, Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball has taken down the Catawba Indians, winning 3-1 today in Salisbury. The Bears held the Indians to just a .022 hitting percentage while hitting .242 themselves.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
  • Two straight Averie Dale kills capped off a Bears 11-4 run to open the game.
  • Catawba never got close in the first set, with Jenna Vogen clinching the set with an ace for LR's 25th point.
  • Up 5-4 early in the second set, Lenoir-Rhyne closed on a 20-4 run to take set two and go up 2-0.
