Jefferson City, Tenn.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball team scored just twenty points in the second half as the Bears fell at Carson-Newman 64-57 on Saturday afternoon. Tilda Lindstrom had her fifth double-double of the season with 15 points and ten rebounds in the loss. Bears shot just 22% from the floor in the second half as LR made just seven field goals in the final twenty minutes.

- Bears have not lost six straight games inside Holt Fieldhouse.
- LR and C-N split the season series as LR won inside Shuford arena.
- Bears remain in second place but are now two games behind Catawba for first place.
- After today, the Bears play three straight at home and four of five to finish the regular season inside the Shu.
FIRST HALF:
- The home team jumped out to a 11-2 lead before the Bears scored 11 of the last 15 points in the first quarter.
- Second quarter saw the Bears tied the game at 21 before the Eagles scored the next 12 points to take a 33-21 lead with 5:31 left in the first half.
- LR closed the half with a three pointer by Blaikley Crooks to cut the lead to 40-37 however Crooks was held to just eight points on the afternoon.
- Lindstrom had 13 of her 15 points in the first half as Lindstrom connected all four of her three-pointers in the half.
SECOND HALF:
- Bears only had three field goals in the third quarter while the Eagles connected on just five as the teams only combined for twenty third quarter points.
- After the Bears took their first lead of the day at 41-40, the Eagles scored the next ten points before Mikeba Jones layup cut the lead to 50-43 with :47 seconds left in the third.
- Jones scored again right before the end of the period as cut the Eagles lead to 53-45 after thirty minutes.
- LR cut the lead to five with 1:49 to go but the Bears missed their last three shots and could not get it any closer as the Eagles came away with a 64-57 win.
BEYOND THE BOX SORE:
- Eagles assisted on 23 of their 26 baskets lead by nine from Makayla Alvery.
- Jones had 14 points and six rebounds for the Bears while Emily Harman had 12 points, four assists and four rebounds.
- Bears only had six bench points today while the Eagles had 17.
- There were only 17 combined free-throws in the game.
