Gaffney, S.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team drop a road contest to #23 Limestone 20-4 on Saturday afternoon. The loss is the Bears fifth straight lost since winning their season opener. The Bears will return home to start a three game home stand as LR will look to get back into the win column.
Sally Friesen made 16 saves as
Chloe Christensen had a goal and an assist.

STATS OF THE GAME
- Bears were shutout in the opening period as the Saints scored all six goals in the first period.
- Anneleise Meyer ended the shutout period as Meyer scored with 6:58 left in the second period.
- Rylie McGhan added a goal less then two minutes later but it was the Saints up 13-2 at halftime.
- Christensen scored in the third quarter for the Bears lone goal in the period.
- Jolan Morey finished the scoring on the day with a goal with :14 seconds left in the game.
- 15 different Saints players scored on the day as no one had more then two goals.
- Friesen made 16 saves on the day, second most this season.

- Limestone moves to 11-0 all-time against the Bears.
- Bears will have the next three games at home as UVA-Wise, Lincoln Memorial and Emory & Henry visit Moretz Stadium.
- LR will finish on the road for their last five or six before the SAC Tournament.
