ROCK HILL, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne's Tyler McPeak was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Baseball Player of the Week, while teammate Kellen Gradisar was named WePlayed Sports Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played during week 11 of the 2024 season, the Conference office announced today.

McPeak, a senior first basemen from Denver, N.C., recorded a .636 batting average over the week and had a .500 batting average or better in all three games against Wingate as the Bears took two-of-three. McPeak had a four-hit performance in the 14-12 victory in the first game of the Saturday doubleheader and scored four runs. For the week. he had a .714 on base percentage, 1.000 slugging percentage and drove in four runs.

Gradisar, a freshman pitcher from Missouri City, Texas, tossed his first career complete game in a win over Wingate. Gradisar gave up only six hits and one earned run in his seven innings on the mound with six strikeouts. It was the first seven-inning complete game for Lenoir-Rhyne since the 2022 season.
