ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne baseball team placed eight individuals on the 2026 All-SAC team.
Catawba led the way with nine honorees, followed by Lenoir-Rhyne's eight and Wingate's six.
Mackenzie Wainwright (OF),
Matt Procopio (SS), and
Nathan Kidder (C) were named to the All-SAC First Team,
Kellen Gradisar (SP) and
Preston Drebes (RF) to the All-SAC Second Team, and
Seth Christmas (1B),
Paul Toovalian (SP), and
Jack Renaud (RP) to the All-SAC Third Team.
Mackenzie Wainwright sees himself on the first team for the second consecutive year. The junior from Ohio leads the team in hits (74), runs (58), RBIs (55), doubles (17), and home runs (14). He ranks 22nd in the nation with a .790 slugging %.
Matt Procopio, who was just named Lenoir-Rhyne's Male Comeback Athlete of the Year, has been on a tear this season, leading the team with a .429 batting average and posting totals of 70 hits, 55 RBIs, 42 runs, 14 doubles, and eight home runs. He has struck out just 11 times in 163 at bats.
Nathan Kidder has stepped up this season, posting career highs in nearly every category. A graduate student who has spent his entire career at LR, this is Kidder's first all-conference nod.
Kellen Gradisar has a 3.34 ERA and a 7-3 record. The reliable starter is the first Lenoir-Rhyne pitcher to throw six complete games in a season since Israel Campbell in 2002. Relief pitcher
Preston Drebes stepped up this season, going 6-1 with 55 strikeouts and a 3.50 ERA in 21 appearances on the mound.
First baseman
Seth Christmas was a welcome addition to coach Skonieczki's lineup this season as he is batting .383 with 69 hits, 52 RBIs, 16 doubles, and nine home runs. Freshman
Paul Toovalian has a 3.33 ERA and a 4-2 record in 46 innings on the mound. He leads the team in strikeouts at 62.
Jack Renaud was on pace for an All-American season before getting injured midway through the year. In just 10 appearances, the junior posted totals of seven saves and a 1.08 ERA, striking out 19 in 16.2 innings pitched.
