ANDERSON, SC - The Bears held on for their most impressive victory of the season on Wednesday, upsetting Anderson 67-65 on the road.
Vanessa Jurewicz and
Emily Harman combined for 31 points in the victory while
Tilda Lindstroem led the Bears with seven boards. This marks the Bears second victory of the season on the road and ends their three game losing streak.
Highlighting the day was
Emily Harman, who now sits at third all-time in Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball history with 1,672 points.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- Threes from Tilda Lindstroem and Maleiya Hill put the Bears up 12-4 early.
- Lenoir-Rhyne was a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc in the first quarter, helping them lead 17-15 after one.
- Bears struggled again offensively in the second quarter, only shooting 4-for-16 (25%) from the field.
- Rose Gravel's layup stretched Anderson's lead to 31-23 with less than three minutes remaining in the opening half.
- Anderson went into halftime with a 33-27 lead, outscoring Lenoir-Rhyne 18-10 in the second quarter.
- The Bears came out firing on all cylinders at the beginning of the third, with Blaikley Crooks and Tilda Lindstroem combining for seven points to cut the deficit to one.
- A Vanessa Jurewicz layup with eight seconds remaining in the frame cut the Trojans lead to three entering the final 10 minutes of play.
- Emily Harman hit a jumper early in the fourth to give the Bears a 52-50 lead, their first since the first quarter.
- A Maleiya Hill steal led to a Harman three-pointer to give the Bears a 62-60 lead with under three minutes remaining in regulation.
- Diamond McDowell's missed tip-in as time expired for Anderson sealed the win for the Bears.

- Vanessa Jurewicz finished with 16 points and produced her first 10+ point game since November 30th against UVA Wise.
- Emily Harman (15) and Blaikley Crooks joined Jurewicz in double figures.
- Lenoir-Rhyne shot 29-for-63 (46.0%) from the field and 6-for-11 (54.5%) from beyond the arc.
- Anderson won the rebound battle 41-34 and held a 38-32 advantage in points in the paint.
- The Bears only attempted four free throws during the entire game, the fewest free throws they have attempted this season.
