GREENEVILLE, TN - Down 13 points at the half, the Lenoir-Rhyne women's basketball team outscored the Tusculum Pioneers 31-15 in the third quarter to take a three-point lead heading into the final frame. Following a back-and-forth battle in the fourth quarter,
Alexandra Merceron hit a jumper with six seconds left to give LR a one-point lead. After an offensive foul by the Pioneers,
Emily Harman iced the game with two clutch free throws.
The five starters for the Bears scored all 82-points in this game, led by a career high 28 points from
Alexandra Merceron.
