Adam Skonieczki and the Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball team just keep winning, as they took down Bloomsburg 7-0 and 8-4 on Friday afternoon in Hickory.
Pitching was the name of the game for the Bears on the day, as starters
Andrew Harlow and
William Girardi threw a combined 13 innings and allowed just two runs on six hits, all while striking out 19. The offense did their thing as well, racking up 24 hits over the two games.

- The Bears scored four runs in the bottom of the third to take the early lead.
- Mackenzie Wainwright and Owen Blackledge each notched RBI's in the inning.
- Joseph Mozingo hit a 2 RBI single to score Cole Stanford and Cole Laskowski.
- Wainwright notched his second RBI of the game in the bottom of the fourth to put LR up 5-0.
- Blackledge and Stanford RBI's in the bottom of the sixth gave the game it's final score.
- Andrew Harlow (3-0) notched the complete game shutout, allowing just three hits and striking out nine.
- Wainwright went 2-for-4 with two RBI's and a run scored, while Blackledge was 3-for-3 with two RBI's and a walk.

- The Huskies went up 1-0 in the top of the first, but a Joseph Mozingo RBI in the bottom of the inning tied things up.
- Bloomsburg took the lead again in the second inning, but Cole Stanford's second home run of the year tied things up at 2-2 in the third.
- Michael Logan and Nathan Kidder hit back-to-back doubles in the third to extend LR's lead to 4-2 after three.
- Cole Laskowski hit an RBI single in the fourth to push the the lead to three.
- Stanford hit a 2 RBI single in the sixth to extend the lead to 7-2.
- Logan took advantage of a wild play in the seventh and stole home, putting the Bears up six.
- Preston Drebes came in and struck out all six batters he faced in the seventh and eighth innings.
- William Girardi (2-0) struck out 10 and allowed just two runs on three hits in six innings of work.
- Laskowski went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored.

- The Bears are now 5-2 all-time against the Huskies.
