- Ellie Campbell kept things close for the Bears early, and Burghardt and Christensen kept the pressure on with two more goals late to make it 10-8 Embry-Riddle with 4:01 left in the half.
- The Eagles notched two more goals before Campbell scored her second of the frame near the end of the half to make it 12-9 at the break.
- Embry Riddle turned it on in the second half, outscoring the Bears 11-2 over the final 30 minutes of play to secure the win.
