Carricato's late game heroics give Bears 5-4 win over Coker

HARTSVILLE, SC - When Sal Carricato is up to the plate, anything can happen. For the second time this year, the senior hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth that wound up being the eventual game winner. The first time it was a solo shot against Young Harris, this time it was a two-run home run with two outs that also scored Owen Blackledge.

The Lenoir-Rhyne pitching staff showed out in the win, as Andrew Harlow struck out 10 in seven innings of work, while Peyton Schofield (W, 2-0) and Gavin Marley (S, 1) didn't allow a base runner in the final two innings of play.
