Harrogate, TN - After dropping the first game of a double-header against Lincoln Memorial, Lenoir-Rhyne responded with a mercy-rule victory get the split the series.
Katelyn Rackard,
Avery Kiger, and
Cassidy Wall combined for eight hits, two home runs, and drove in six runs in the 13-3 game-two victory.
Faith Carrigan earned her sixth victory of the season on the circle throwing a complete game, allowing only two earned runs.Â

STORY OF GAME ONE:
- The Bears jumped ahead 2-0 in the first inning off an RBI double to left center from Julia Mardigian and an unearned run generated by Avery Kiger.
- Lincoln Memorial responded with a run in the bottom of the first before taking the lead off a two-run home run from Kristin Griffin in the 5th.
- Chloe Woodward scored on a throwing error by the Railsplitters to nod the game up at 3-3 in the 6th.
- The Railsplitters put the game out of reach with a four run bottom of the 6th Inning with two doubles and one single.Â
- Lenoir-Rhyne was held to five hits and left six runners on base.
- Madison Wilson pitched her ninth complete game of the season, collecting six strikeouts in the loss.
STORY OF GAME TWO:
- Lincoln Memorial struck first with all three runs generated from Jordann Reagan in the first three innings.
- The Bears offense exploded in the 4th inning, scoring 11Â runs on 11 hits to take a 11-3 lead into the bottom of the inning.
- Eight of the nine batters for the Bears collected at least one hit in the second game.
- Katelyn Rackard had a perfect game at the plate going 4-for-4 with an RBI.
- Avery Kiger and Cassidy Wall both homered in the 5th inning to extend the LR lead to 10.
- Faith Carrigan only struck out one batter in the victory, but pitched a complete game while only allowing just two hits.
