BELMONT, NC - In the middle series of a six-game road trip for the Bears, six different Bears combined for 10 home runs in a double-header sweep of Belmont Abbey on Wednesday afternoon.
Lani Warren,
Katelyn Rackard, and Alex Gray all had multi-home run performances and combined for 15 RBI's.
Madison Wilson and
Alissa Russ both came away with mercy rule victories on the circle, striking out 13 batters and only allowing eight hits combined.

STORY OF GAME ONE:
- Lenoir-Rhyne jumped out the gate with RBI singles from Avery Kiger and Lani Warren in the 1st Inning to take a 2-0 lead
- Warren and Madison Primm combined for two home runs and drove in five runs to extend the Bears lead 7-0 in the 2nd Inning.
- A Cassidy Wall RBI single and Alex Gray two-run double to left pushed the Bears lead into double figures in the 4th.
- Warren belted her second home run of the game with a two-run shot to left to extend the Bears lead to 12-0 in the 5th.
- Madison Wilson collected her 10th win of the year on the circle and now has 10 complete games on the season.
- The Crusaders combined for five hits and left eight runners stranded on base in the defeat.
STORY OF GAME TWO:
- Belmont Abbey scored their first and only run of the double-header off an RBI sac-fly by Ava Elkins in the 1st Inning.
- The Bears responded with a three-run home run from Katelyn Rackard in the 2nd Inning to take a 3-1 lead.
- Lenoir-Rhyne busted the game wide open in the 3rd, scoring six runs on six hits. This included four home runs between Avery Kiger, Madison Primm, Alex Gray, and Rackard.
- Lenoir-Rhyne concluded the game with a two-run shot from Alex Gray in the 4th and a three-run home run from Camden Gerland in the 5th.
- Alissa Russ picked up her third victory of the season on the circle, allowing just one earned run on three hits in five completed innings of work.
